National airline Iberia has launched a series of offers for the New Year, with internal flights for €25, European destinations for €29 and trips to Asia and South Africa for €199 and the USA for €200.
These deals are valid for flights operated by Iberia, the regional line Air Nostrum and the low-cost holding Iberia Express, but not those run by Level.
Cut-price tickets are available until Monday, January 22.
All taxes, charges and online payment fees are included in the reduced ticket price.
Discounted flights are valid for travel from January 15 to December 1, 2018, except for the period between June 16 and August 31, for the Americas, Asia and South Africa.
For trips within Spain and elsewhere in Europe, the reduce-price tickets apply to travel between February 1 and June 17, 2018, but not including the Easter period from March 22 to April 3, nor the bank holiday weeks from April 27 to May 3 or May 11 to 16.
Flights booked for Spain and Europe must be at least 30 days in advance, although no minimum is required for long-haul destinations.
The minimum stay is three days, or overnight on a Saturday through to a Sunday, and the maximum gap between outbound and return flights is one month.
Some routes do not require minimum or maximum stays.
Deals include Caribbean destinations from €274 each way, Latin America from €299 each way, and flight and hotel combination deals – a seven-day stay in New York with a return flight comes in at €599, two nights in London with flights at €139 and the same price for a two-night stay in Tenerife from a mainland destination.
These deals are very worthwhile, given that it is extremely difficult to find a hotel for one night in London for €139, let alone two nights and with the flight included.
Iberia forms part of the One World group, which also owns British Airways.
